Arsenal are reportedly set to miss out on a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
The Gunners had allegedly been eyeing a summer move for the Ghana international, whose current deal at the Wanda Metropolitano is thought to include a release clause of €50m (£44.8m).
However, according to AS, Atletico are confident of agreeing an extension with the midfielder in the coming weeks, raising his buy-out figure to €100m (£89.6m) in the process.
Thomas made his first-team debut for Diego Simeone's side in 2015 and has since appeared on 174 occasions for the Spanish giants, scoring 15 times in the process.
The midfielder caught the eye with his performance against Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this month, but Arsenal are allegedly set to miss out on his signature.
The Gunners, though, are allegedly weighing up a summer move for Real Betis attacker Nabil Fekir.
