Arsenal have reportedly identified FC Basel defender Aleksandar Dragovic as a January transfer target.
The 21-year-old, who has made 14 appearances for Austria, is regarded as one of the best young defenders in world football.
According to talkSPORT, Arsene Wenger has watched the defender on a number of occasions this season, with a view to a permanent transfer.
Dragovic has also reportedly attracted interest from Spain.
