Arsenal will offer defender Hector Bellerin a new five-year contract to fend off interest from former club Barcelona, according to a report.
The 21-year-old has grown in stature at the Emirates Stadium over the past two years and was named as the Gunners' Young Player of the Year last season.
Bellerin joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2011, where he spent time in the club's famed academy before jumping ship in search of potential first-team football.
Barca have shown plenty of interest in the full-back in recent times, with vice-president Jordi Mestre even revealing recently that the Spaniard would be a perfect fit for the Catalan club.
According to The Mirror, however, Arsenal are in the process of offering Bellerin a new contract and plan to hold further talks with the player's representatives during the international break.
The Gunners are also understood to be looking to tie down Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to fresh deals after putting talks on temporary hold earlier this year.
