Arsenal could reportedly revive their interest in Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.
The Gunners allegedly failed in their attempts to sign Vlahovic in January 2022 when he was still a Fiorentina player.
While Fiorentina were believed to have accepted a £88m bid from Arsenal, Vlahovic had already reached an agreement to sign for Juventus.
As a result, the Serbian striker completed a move to the Serie A giants for a fee said to be in the region of £66m.
Despite scoring 25 goals in 66 competitive appearances for Juventus, Vlahovic has struggled to produce his best form at times.
The 23-year-old was linked with a summer move to Chelsea as part of a potential deal that would have seen Romelu Lukaku move in the opposite direction.
However, the transfer failed to materialise and Vlahovic remained in Turin, where he has experienced an encouraging start to the 2023-24 season, netting two goals in the opening three Serie A games.
While Vlahovic has begun the new campaign in promising fashion, he continues to be linked with a move away from Juventus.
According to The Express, Mikel Arteta's side could reportedly renew their pursuit of the Serbia international.
Vlahovic still has over two-and-a-half years remaining on his current contract, which runs until the summer of 2026.
However, with his deal set to automatically rise to £10m per season from next year, Juventus could decide to listen to offers.
Arteta is understood to be keen to add to his current centre-forward options, which include Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, and Vlahovic has seemingly re-emerged as a potential target.
While it remains to be seen whether the North London club will pursue a future deal for Vlahovic, Arteta will be fully focused on Arsenal's return to Premier League action this weekend.
After taking 10 points from their opening four games, the Gunners will look to continue their unbeaten start to the season when they face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday. body check tags ::
