Arsenal are reportedly yet to offer Alexandre Lacazette a new contract, even with the Frenchman's deal set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
The former Lyon man has often divided opinion in North London since arriving in the summer of 2017, and he was heavily linked with a move away in the most recent transfer window.
Lacazette ultimately remained at Arsenal despite links with Atletico Madrid and Roma, but he is yet to start a game in the 2021-22 Premier League season after contracting coronavirus and is now being tipped to head to Italy with Juventus.
The Gunners are currently running the risk of losing Lacazette on a free transfer in 2022, but ESPN claims that the striker has no new contract offer on the table and there are no discussions over his future.
The report adds that Arsenal are instead prioritising their 'financial resources' on other areas of the team, but Mikel Arteta has nevertheless backed Lacazette to be "instrumental" for Arsenal this season.
The 30-year-old's only goal so far this season came against West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Cup, and he boasts 66 strikes from 172 games for Arsenal across all competitions. body check tags ::
