Arsenal's hopes of signing Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco on loan for the rest of the season have reportedly ended after Dalian Yifang took him off the market.
The Gunners were keen to land the 25-year-old before tonight's January transfer deadline, having seemingly missed out on first-choice signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.
However, Carrasco's agent has now revealed that Carrasco is no longer available for transfer and hinted that Arsenal had failed to make a formal approach for the attacker.
"Dalian Yifang have taken Yannick Carrasco off the market," Federico Pastorello told Sky Sport Italia.
"It's very unlikely he'll move, as Dalian Yifang have formally taken him off the market. His name could be back in the headlines over the summer.
"There were some shows of interest from Italy, but we never went beyond that."
Carrasco joined Dalian Yifang in February of last year but is understood to be open to the idea of returning to Europe.
