Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has insisted that he is not even considering the possibility of selling leading goalscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old will see his contract at the Emirates Stadium expire in June 2021, and it has been claimed that the forward is determined to leave the Gunners either this month or at the end of the campaign.
Indeed, both Inter Milan and Barcelona are said to be lining up offers for the Gabon international, who has scored 15 times in 25 appearances for the Gunners during the current season.
Aubameyang played down talk of an exit when questioned following Wednesday's 2-0 win over Manchester United, though, and now Arteta has had his say on the transfer speculation.
"I don't even think about that possibility with Auba, I want him here," Arteta told reporters ahead of his team's FA Cup clash with Championship side Leeds United on Monday night.
Aubameyang, who is allegedly determined to play Champions League football at this stage of his career, has scored 56 goals in 90 appearances for Arsenal since arriving from Borussia Dortmund.
