Arturo Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich has distanced the Juventus midfielder from rumours linking him to Arsenal by denying that talks have occurred between the two parties.
The Chile international, who was arrested last month in his homeland for drink-driving, was touted as a possible target for the Gunners.
However, reports emerged earlier this week claiming that Arsenal have no interest in trying to sign the 28-year-old, and Felicevich appears to have backed that up.
Vidal's representative told Radio America in Argentina that he has had "no contact" with Arsenal, who began their summer spending on Monday by reportedly parting with £11m to sign goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Vidal is currently with his Chile teammates preparing for the Copa America final against Argentina.
