Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race to sign in-demand Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard.
The much-coveted Frenchman has entered the final 18 months of his deal with the Scottish champions and could be moved on this summer if Celtic do not want to risk losing him for free next year.
A fee of £35m was previously thought to have been slapped on Edouard's head, but given his contract situation, Celtic may reportedly be prepared to accept £20m for his services in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Edouard amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of Eddie Nketiah, Folarin Balogun and Alexandre Lacazette, but according to the Scottish Daily Mail, Aston Villa are also keen.
However, the report also claims that Roma are hopeful of winning the race as they prepare for life without Edin Dzeko, while former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is also keen to reunite with Edouard at Leicester City.
The former Paris Saint-Germain youngster has bagged 20 goals across all competitions this season - including 16 in the Scottish Premiership - and he scored the winner for John Kennedy in his first game in interim charge of the champions against Aberdeen on Saturday.
