Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette after their attempts to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani stalled.
Diego Simeone's side are said to be keen on adding to their strike force this window, with Atleti managing just 22 league goals so far this season.
According to the Daily Mail, the 2014 La Liga champions will weigh up a move for Lacazette if their pursuit of Cavani fails, with Cedric Bakambu and Paco Alcacer also potential options.
The report adds that Cavani remains their primary target, although no breakthrough has been reached between the two clubs.
The Arsenal forward has managed 42 goals in 108 appearances for the North London club, but has only scored five Premier League goals so far this season.
Elsewhere, Alcacer has bagged five Bundesliga goals for Borussia Dortmund this term, while Bakambu has managed a total of 34 goals in 46 matches for Beijing Guoan.
