Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly in talks with Arsenal over a new contract at the club.
The 30-year-old has scored eight times in 10 appearances for the Gunners during an impressive start to the 2019-20 campaign - including seven in eight Premier League outings.
The Gabon international has netted 49 times in 75 games for his current club since arriving from Borussia Dortmund at the mid-point of the 2017-18 season.
Aubameyang's current deal at the Emirates Stadium will expire in June 2021, though, and it was reported last month that the forward was eyeing a switch to Real Madrid.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal have now opened talks with the attacker over a new contract as they look to tie down one of their most important players.
Aubameyang scored 141 times in 213 appearances for BVB before completing a move to England.
