Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named in Borussia Dortmund's squad for Saturday afternoon's home match against Freiburg.
The Gabon international has not featured for the Bundesliga side since December 16 due to "punctuality problems" relating to his poor timekeeping.
Arsenal are currently in talks with Aubameyang to bring him to the Premier League, but the two clubs have been unable to reach an agreement and there are now fears that a move could be delayed until the summer.
Despite the uncertainty over his star striker's future continuing into the closing stages of the winter transfer window, Stoger has stuck to his plans by naming him in BVB's matchday squad for the meeting with Freiburg.
Speaking at his pre-match presser on Thursday, Stoger said: "He trained well this week and left a good impression. He has qualified himself for the squad at the weekend if he continues like that."
Dortmund have drawn their last two games, against Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin, in the absence of Aubameyang.
