Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has held preliminary talks with Crystal Palace as he continues to look for a new club.
Bendtner is deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates after spending the last two seasons on loan at Sunderland and Juventus, without earning a permanent move to either side.
Hamburg, Eintracht Frankfurt and Hull City have also considered a move for the Danish international this summer, but have eventually been put off by the forward's wage demands.
Palace are the latest club to hold talks with Bendtner during a meeting at a central London hotel this afternoon, according to the Daily Mirror.
Eagles boss Ian Holloway has been chasing reinforcements in the final third for much of the close season, seeking competition for major summer signing Dwight Gayle.
Holloway has already struck one deal with an ex-Gunner during the transfer window, with Marouane Chamakh moving to Selhurst Park on a free.
