Newly promoted Cardiff City are reportedly planning a summer swoop to bring Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey back to the club.
The 22-year-old left the Bluebirds to join the Gunners in 2008 in a deal worth £4.8m when he was 17.
However, Ramsey has struggled to hold down a starting place in Arsene Wenger's since breaking his leg in a clash with Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross in 2010.
Cardiff boss Malky Mackay feels that the Wales international is the perfect player to build his team around for their first season in the top flight in over 50 years, according to The Mirror.
However, the Bluebirds will have to pay considerably more than the £4.8m they received in 2008 along with the player's wages which owner Vincent Tan is more than happy to bankroll.
