A number of first-team players at Chelsea reportedly want Thomas Tuchel to pursue a deal for Everton forward Richarlison this summer.
The 25-year-old was a key player for Frank Lampard's side in helping the Toffees avoid relegation from the Premier League last season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 30 top-flight appearances.
However, The Sun reports that Richarlison has informed Lampard of his desire to leave Goodison Park this summer, even though he has two years remaining on his contract.
The report adds that Chelsea have identified the Brazil international as a potential target, and several senior stars at Stamford Bridge believe his 'aggressive and tenacious' characteristics would be invaluable for the Blues going forward.
London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be in the race for Richarlison, who could cost in the region of £50m, roughly the same fee that Everton spent to recruit him for from Watford in the summer of 2018.
Richarlison is not the only forward on Chelsea's shortlist, as they have also expressed their interest in signing Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele, the latter of whom is out of contract at the end of this month.
The Blues are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer, amid reports claiming that Romelu Lukaku is set to return to Inter Milan on loan. body check tags ::
