Chelsea will reportedly go as high as £35m in their efforts to bring Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 23-year-old is into the last 12 months of his current deal with the Gunners and has held talks about signing a new long-term contract.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is also open to the idea of selling Oxlade-Chamberlain this month should the right offer come in and has already knocked back an initial £25m approach from the Premier League champions for his services.
According to The Mirror, Wenger's Chelsea counterpart Antonio Conte has earmarked Oxlade-Chamberlain as competition for Victor Moses in the right wing-back position and is hoping to persuade the Gunners to do business with an improved offer of £35m.
Speaking yesterday, Wenger described the England international as a "hugely-talented player" with significant "potential".
