Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has refused to discuss a potential move for Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez out of respect to the Gunners.
Sanchez, 27, has scored 13 times in 20 appearances for Arsenal this season, including a hat-trick in his team's 5-1 win over West Ham United in the Premier League last weekend.
The Chilean will be out of contract at the Emirates in the summer of 2018, however, and it is understood that talks over a fresh deal have stalled over wage demands.
Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the forward, but Conte said that "it is not right" to discuss players at other clubs.
"I don't think it is right to talk about other players and other teams. It is not right and we are totally focused on the next game. January and next season are very far away for us. It is important not to talk about other players because it is a lack of respect," Conte told reporters.
Sanchez has also been linked with a move to the super-rich Chinese Super League.
