Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis has revealed that he wants to bring Arsenal youngster Chuks Aneke back to the club on loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder scored eight goals during two loan spells with the League One side last season.
"I've had dialogue with Chuks, he's been in Asia. So we'll just check out that position there," Davis told BBC Sport.
"He did terrific for us last season. I think initially people didn't see his quality, but over time he came to fruition and his fitness was much better."
Crewe start the new season at home to Rotherham United on Saturday.
