Arsenal midfielder Denilson could extend his loan spell with Brazilian side Sao Paolo, according to the club's president.
The 24-year-old joined his former club on a season-long loan deal after a limited number of opportunities with the Gunners.
"Our conversation was that we have every interest in continuing as we are," said Sao Paolo president Joao Paulo de Jesus. "We want to renew at the end of the contract and he has said he wants to too.
"He will speak with his representatives, who will contact the English club. There is no rush because he is here until the middle of the year."
Denilson moved to the Emirates Stadium from Sao Paolo in 2009 for £3.4m.
