Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has reportedly demanded showdown talks with Arsene Wenger to seek assurances over his future in north London.
Djourou has not started a Premier League game so far this season, finding himself behind Thomas Vermaelen, Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny in the Gunners' pecking order.
The Swiss international has had to settle for a place in Wenger's Capital One Cup side, playing his only match of the campaign against Coventry City in September.
According to The Sun, Djourou wants a meeting with Wenger as he considers ending an eight-year spell at the Emirates.
The 25-year-old was linked with a string of Serie A clubs during the summer, including Napoli and Roma.
Djourou's agent told reporters that there was no truth in rumours linking his client with a move to Italy earlier this week.
