Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have allegedly missed out on signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier.
With the Belgium international leaving Parc des Princes on a free transfer this summer, the 28-year-old represents an attractive option for the two Premier League clubs.
However, according to Bild, Borussia Dortmund have edged out the North London teams to sign the player on a long-term deal.
Meunier, who has made 128 appearances for PSG since 2016, has reportedly penned a contract with Dortmund until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
As well as Arsenal and Spurs, Valencia and Napoli are also said to have failed with bids for the right-back.
The transfer creates uncertainty over the future of Achraf Hakimi, who had been tipped to remain at the Westfalenstadion after impressing during a two-year loan spell from Real Madrid.
