Borussia Dortmund head coach Peter Stoger has poured doubt over Arsenal's proposed move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Early indications have been that the Gabon international was closing in on a move to the Emirates.
The 28-year-old has reportedly been earmarked as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is believed to be wanted by Manchester United and Chelsea.
Reports claimed that Dortmund were open to selling Aubameyang after he was dropped from last weekend's squad for disciplinary reasons.
Stoger, though, has no intention of allowing the attacking player to leave the Bundesliga outfit this month.
"For me it is just logical [that Aubameyang stays]," the coach told reporters. "I expect everything to be as it was. He is a player of BVB, he trains and he is in our plans for the upcoming match."
The forward has scored 21 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions this season.
