Reports emerging in France claim that Bacary Sagna will stay with Arsenal beyond the end of the season.
The right-back's current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires in the summer and the Frenchman has been linked with the likes of Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco.
Arsenal and Sagna have been locked in discussions over fresh terms for him to stay in North London but are yet to reach an agreement, with manager Arsene Wenger usually unwilling to offer more than a one-year deal to players over the age of 30.
However, France Football claims that Sagna has been offered a three-year contract extension worth over £4m per season with Arsenal, which he is expected to sign.
Arsenal are in action tonight in the Premier League as they travel to Southampton with the chance to move four points clear at the top of the table.
