Fulham have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Porto and Mexico midfielder Hector Herrera, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has stood out with his displays for El Tri at the World Cup, earning him links with Roma and European champions Real Madrid.
According to Mexican outlet Record, the Cottagers have submitted an offer for Herrera, which the Portuguese champions rejected before asking for a higher transfer fee.
The report also claims that Arsenal had been linked with Herrera, but with Lucas Torreira joining the Gunners and Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny signing new deals, their interest has cooled.
Herrera has made 192 appearances for Porto since his 2013 move from Pachuca, scoring 26 goals and registering 32 assists.
