Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has reportedly been identified as a potential transfer target for Turkish club Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer having made only 12 Premier League starts last season, but manager Unai Emery has insisted that the forward is not for sale.
However, Turkish outlet AMK reports that the Gunners could be convinced into selling Welbeck in order to trim their wage bill, with Galatasaray interested in bolstering their ranks having qualified for the Champions League.
Welbeck is not thought to be keen on the idea of a move to Turkey, though, and would rather stay at Arsenal to fight for his place despite the allure of top-level European football.
The England international was not named in the squad for Arsenal's opening-weekend defeat to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.
