Inter Milan are said to be considering making an offer for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.
The 23-year-old's place in the Gunners' first team is far from certain following the arrival of Spain international Santi Cazorla and the continuing improvement of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Walcott's current contract expires in less than one year and, with talks over a new deal reportedly stalling, Liverpool and Chelsea have been credited with an interest in his signature this summer.
According to the Daily Star, Liverpool were leading the race for Walcott but they now face stiff competition from the Nerazzurri.
Walcott scored eight Premier League goals in 35 appearances last season.
