Inter Milan are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of midfielder Eden Hazard and are prepared to pay more than £40m for his services.
French side Lille, Hazard's current employers, value their prized asset at £43m, a figure Inter are apparently willing to meet, according to talkSPORT.
The Belgian has made no secret of his desire to leave Lille at the end of this season and has attracted attention from major clubs across Europe.
Liverpool and Arsenal are both thought to be interested, with Arsene Wenger apparently a keen admirer of the sought-after playmaker.
However, the Premier League duo may be put off by the expensive asking price, leaving Inter as the favourites for his signature.
Twenty-year-old Hazard has made 124 appearances for Lille, scoring 20 goals since making his debut in 2007.
