Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has been tipped to sign a new contract with the club despite being linked with a return to West Ham United on loan.
The Hammers want to bring the 23-year-old back to Upton Park on a permanent basis, but the Gunners have long-term plans for him, according to The Mirror.
The right-back's existing contract runs until 2018 and is worth £35,000 a week.
Jenkinson, who made 32 Premier League appearances for West Ham last term, is expected to rejoin the club on loan within the next week.
