Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is reportedly now set to stay at the club for the 2021-22 season.
The Reds are thought to have opened negotiations with the midfielder over a new deal at Anfield, but Henderson has been linked with an exit as talks fail to progress.
Henderson still has another two years left to run on his existing contract, though, meaning that Liverpool are not under immense pressure to sell him this summer if fresh terms cannot be agreed.
However, journalist Dean Jones has rubbished rumours linking Henderson with an imminent exit, telling Eurosport: "In terms of Henderson, he is not going to leave in this window.
"There is no chance Liverpool are going to let him leave at the same time as [Georginio] Wijnaldum because then your whole team starts to fall apart."
Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus were all rumoured to be keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the future of Henderson, who boasts 30 goals and 51 assists from 392 games at Liverpool. body check tags ::
