Jorginho has suggested that he has no concerns over a lack of contract talks with Arsenal.
When the midfielder made the switch from Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium in January, he penned an 18-month deal with an option of a further 12-month extension.
The length of terms suited all parties at the time, with the Gunners requiring another fresh face for their engine room and Jorginho wanting the chance of regular first-team football.
Since then, the Italy international has made a total of 14 starts and 11 substitute outings in all competitions, playing an important backup role in Mikel Arteta's squad.
Jorginho has also featured on nine occasions in 2023-24, making just three starts but notably starting in the last two fixtures against Manchester City and Chelsea.
Such appearances highlight that the 31-year-old is respected by Arteta, yet his outings have come when Thomas Partey has not featured in the first XI.
With less than a year remaining on his contract, as it stands, there remains uncertainty over whether Jorginho has a long-term future in North London.
Nevertheless, speaking to the Evening Standard, Jorginho has indicated that he remains comfortable and settled with life at his current club.
Jorginho said: "No, I haven't had any conversations to be honest. And the only thing I can say is that I feel really good here and I am really happy at Arsenal.
"I didn't think [about it] to be honest with you! I am thinking about tomorrow."
Despite his notable error in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the season, Jorginho has hinted that it had a galvanising effect on both himself and the squad in general.
He added: "There is this togetherness and it just helps everyone so much, every single player. After what happened [against Tottenham], I felt something really strong. There was something really, really good and something special about this club."
Jorginho will hope to retain his place in the starting lineup when Arsenal square off against Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. body check tags ::
