Gonzalo Higuain is officially the third-most expensive player in history after completing his drawn-out transfer from Napoli to Serie A rivals Juventus.
The Argentina international had a €90m (£75.3m) release clause in his contract bought out by the Italian giants to put him behind only Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of record transfers.
Juve will pay Napoli in two instalments for the 28-year-old, who was also a rumoured target for Arsenal after a record-breaking season last time out that saw him score 36 goals in the Italian top flight.
Higuain's switch to Napoli could now see the Old Lady give the green light for Paul Pogba to join Manchester United in a move that will reportedly set the Red Devils back around £100m.
The move was announced on Napoli's official Twitter account on Tuesday evening, while Juventus have also added the former Real Madrid man to their squad list.
