The agent of Gremio defender Walter Kannemann has claimed to have received interest from Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 28-year-old has racked up 129 appearances for the Brazilian club in just three years and is also an Argentina international with five caps to his name.
A report over the weekend suggested that Wolves are interested in the centre-back as they look to strengthen their backline for the upcoming campaign and now his agent Martin Wainbuch has revealed that the Midlands side have made a tentative enquiry.
"They asked me what it would be like, if he would," he told Zero Hora.
"There was nothing concrete. It was just a survey. If he had been playing the Copa America, I believe he would be sold. As he was not called, people are looking for me and asking about him."
Kannemann, who is available for around £12m, has also been linked with Arsenal and Southampton.
