Leicester City have reportedly identified out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny as a possible January transfer target.
Elneny has not played a single minute of Premier League football so far this season, with the Egyptian being limited to Europa League and EFL Cup appearances under Unai Emery so far.
Arsenal are understood to be keen to offload the midfielder during the January transfer window in order to help fund a move for Villarreal's Pablo Fornals.
Emery is reportedly hopeful of securing £15m for Elneny given that the 26-year-old only signed a new four-year deal earlier this year.
The Leicester Mercury reports that the Foxes are considering a bid when the transfer window reopens in January, having previously been linked with Elneny in 2017.
Elneny joined Arsenal from Basel in 2016 and has gone on to make 75 appearances for the club across all competitions.
