Liverpool have reportedly moved ahead of Arsenal and Leeds United in the race for Club Brugge starlet Noa Lang.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a prolific start to proceedings in the Belgian first tier this season and also produced a man-of-the-match display against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Lang was linked with a switch to Leeds over the summer, while Arsenal are now rumoured to be plotting a January swoop for the Netherlands international.
However, Calciomercato claims that Liverpool are now at the head of the queue for Lang's signature, although AC Milan have now entered the race as well.
Brugge manager Philippe Clement has previously admitted that his side may be powerless to stop Lang moving on in January, but it would reportedly take a bid of €25m (£21.1m) to land the attacker.
Lang boasts 21 goals and 16 assists from 51 games in a Brugge shirt, and his deal with the Jupiler Pro League champions does not expire until 2025, with the ex-Ajax starlet penning a new contract just last month. body check tags ::
