Manchester City have reportedly won the race to sign highly-rated Celtic youngster Josh Adam.
The 16-year-old is yet to feature for the Celtic first team and has been unable to agree terms on a professional contract with the Scottish champions, despite being eligible for one since February.
Adam has been tipped to be one of the brightest prospects in Scotland, leading to interest from a number of England's top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the Daily Mail reports that Man City have now won the race for his signature and that Adam will join the club's academy.
The midfielder was handed his Scotland Under-16 debut at the age of just 14 and has seven caps to his name in the various international youth levels.
