Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Alex Grimaldo and may make a move for the Benfica star at the end of the season.
The Citizens are in the market for a new left-back due to concerns over Benjamin Mendy, who has started just 13 Premier League games since joining the club in July 2017.
Grimaldo has emerged as a possible target for Pep Guardiola's men, having supposedly been watched up close by City scouts in recent weeks.
Mundo Deportivo claims that the 23-year-old, boasting four goals and five assists in the Portuguese top flight this season, has caught the Premier League champions' eye.
Arsenal have also been strongly linked with the Spain Under-21s international, who emerged through Barcelona's academy before joining Benfica in 2016, while Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Napoli are also possible options.
Grimaldo has either scored or assisted a goal every four games for the Portuguese giants.
