Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta believes that his side's poor relationship with Fiorentina could hinder a deal to sign striker Stevan Jovetic.
The Montenegro international has been linked with a move away from the Serie A side this summer, with Arsenal and Juve the reported front runners for his signature.
Marrotta told the club's official website: "A lot has been said about Jovetic but difficulties in our relationship has made any deal difficult.
"At the moment I don't think it will be possible, but a lot could happen between now and the beginning of September."
The 23-year-old scored 13 goals for Fiorentina last season.
