Per Mertesacker could reportedly be sold off by Arsenal at the end of the season.
The £10m defender, who signed for the Gunners on deadline day last summer, will not play again this campaign due to an ankle ligament injury.
However, manager Arsene Wenger may offload the German to make way for Ajax centre-back Jan Vertonghen, according to The Mirror.
Mertesacker made 27 appearances for Arsenal this season before he suffered his injury against Sunderland in February.
