Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes that it is a "good sign" that Bukayo Saka has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
The England international continues to go from strength to strength at the Emirates and has registered six goals and four assists in 20 Premier League games this term.
A recent report claimed that Saka could be tempted by the prospect of a move to Liverpool, and Arteta has taken the speculation as a compliment of his side's work.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Arteta said: "I think that's great news when you have a lot of talk and people willing for you players, it's a really good sign.
"They should be proud because that means they are doing extremely good work. I am really happy with Bukayo, and with what he's doing, with how he's development and the importance he has on the team.
"Most importantly with the impact that he's able to make in each game. This is something that we want to keep improving in each game, because he has the capacity to do it."
Saka penned a new deal with Arsenal in the summer of 2020 and still has two-and-a-half years left to run on that existing contract.
The 20-year-old has banked a total of 18 goals and 25 assists from 110 games for the Gunners since graduating from their Hale End academy. body check tags ::
