James Milner has reportedly decided to continue his career in the Premier League.
The England international will be out of contract at Manchester City next month, which had resulted in suggestions that he could move abroad, with the likes of Roma and Inter Milan both said to be interested.
However, the 29-year-old believes that remaining in England would be best for both his career and personal life, according to the Daily Mail.
That could alert Liverpool and Arsenal, both of whom have been strongly linked with the midfielder.
Yesterday, City manager Manuel Pellegrini stressed that he would like Milner to sign a new deal at the Etihad Stadium.
