Arsenal winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan has rubbished reports claiming that he is looking to secure a move away from the Emirates.
Mkhitaryan has spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Italian side Roma, where he has chalked up six goals and three assists from 13 Serie A appearances.
Recent reports had suggested that the Armenia international had informed Arsenal of his desire to leave the club, but those rumours have since been quashed by the player and his agent.
"Mkhitaryan did not send any message to Arsenal," said Mino Raiola on Instagram. "Especially in times like these, fake news is completely unacceptable."
The Arsenal man has appeared to back up his agent's comments on social media, sharing a screenshot of Raiola's post to his Instagram followers.
Nevertheless, Roma reportedly remain keen to sign the 31-year-old on a permanent basis this summer, with his current contract at Arsenal set to expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
The winger has registered nine goals in 58 appearances for the Gunners since arriving from Manchester United in 2018.
