Newcastle United have reportedly put together a 10-man shortlist of targets ahead of the upcoming transfer windows.
Now owned by the Saudi Arabia Investment Fund, the Magpies have the financial firepower to spend big in the short term due to their previous low net spend.
According to Fichajes, the club's new owners have already identified 10 high-profile targets, a list which includes Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.
A number of other Premier League players are also being monitored, including Chelsea's Timo Werner and Arsenal duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
Attempts to sign Gareth Bale and Luka Jovic will also be considered with Real Madrid known to be happy to offload both attackers.
Paris Saint-Germain may allegedly receive bids for Keylor Navas and Mauro Icardi, while Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho and Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman are also possibilities.
The report adds that the new owners want to make a statement signing during the January window.
