Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news snippets from across the footballing world, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's response to a jibe from Borussia Dortmund's chief, injury worries for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Tony Pulis's links to the Millwall job. Scroll down for more!

Tony Pulis in line for Millwall job?

Tony Pulis has been linked with the managerial vacancy at Millwall following Neil Harris's resignation last week. The 61-year-old, who has been out of work since leaving Middlesbrough in May, has also been tipped for a return to his former side Stoke City in recent days.

Roma suspect Mkhitaryan was injured when sent on loan?

Roma manager Paulo Fonseca has appeared to suggest that Henrikh Mkhitaryan was already injured when Arsenal sent him out on loan to the Italian side for this season. The Armenian has been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh injury and in his pre-match press conference last week, Fonseca was quizzed by journalists over whether the injury was there when he joined the club.

"He was already complaining of a discomfort to the adductor and with this density of matches it was clear he could feel some discomfort," he replied. "As a preventive measure I had kept him out against Atalanta and he had recovered well. Then he got hurt against Lecce."

Aubameyang brands Dortmund chief "clown"

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hit back at Hans-Joachim Watzke after the Borussia Dortmund chief executive suggested that the 30-year-old only moved to Arsenal for money. Speaking to the press last week, Watzke had said: "Aubameyang, who plays great at Arsenal, will probably be warm-hearted when he looks at his bank account, but on Wednesdays will be saddened when he has to watch the Champions League on television."

Taking to Twitter in response, the striker wrote: "Better for you I never talk about why I really left Dortmund Mr Watzke, you such a clown. I remember that time you said we never going to sell Ousmane then you saw more than 100M, you were the first to take that money. Don't talk about money please!!! Leave me alone pls."

Kyle Walker fears England career is over?

Kyle Walker is reportedly concerned that his England career may be finished after he was snubbed by Gareth Southgate for this month's Euro 2020 qualifiers. The 29-year-old defender, who has 48 caps, was also left out of the squad for last month's games.

"He fears this could be the end of him when it comes to England," an anonymous source told the Daily Star. "He's only 29, at his peak. He thinks he should be in the squad, but it appears Gareth Southgate is not having him. It's ridiculous and doesn't look good moving forward."

Capello: 'I tried to sign Messi'

Fabio Capello has revealed that he tried to sign a teenage Lionel Messi when he was in charge of Juventus 15 years ago. The ex-England boss told Sky Sports Italy: "I met Messi for the first time when he was 16 in the Gamper Trophy. When he came on to the pitch, he sent the fans into a frenzy: I went over and asked Rijkaard if he could loan him to us. They had a problem with the three non-EU players they could deploy, but he told me they'd still find a way to deploy him..."

Leicester 'chasing Turkish teenager'

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is keeping tabs on 15-year-old Turkish midfielder Burak Ince, according to Fotospor. Ince, who plays for second-tier side Altinordu, is also being tracked by Manchester City and would be available for around €1.5m (£1.3m).

Carragher compares Alexander-Arnold to De Bruyne

Jamie Carragher has tipped Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold to develop into a similar player to Manchester City influencer Kevin De Bruyne in the future.

"People talk about the future and could he come into midfield and be a Kevin De Bruyne type player and he has more quality now that Liverpool's midfield players," Carragher said of the 20-year-old. "You think about the crosses that De Bruyne puts in from the right midfield position and maybe that's a position where Trent could play. But at the moment you wouldn't think about moving position because he is playing so well."

Real Madrid player fines revealed

Real Madrid players are fined €250 (£223) if they are found to be overweight, Spanish TV channel Cuatro has revealed. Players are fined between €250 and €1000 if they use their mobiles during training sessions or in the changing rooms, while they are also charged €250 if they arrive to training less than 45 minutes before a session starts.
