Boca Juniors confirm Zlatan interest

Argentine side Boca Juniors have confirmed that they are interested in signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he departs Los Angeles Galaxy. The club's director Jorge Anro told Mundo Boca Radio: "It is true that Ibrahimovic wants to play for Boca and it is true that we are in a position to bring him in. The club is in a very good moment institutionally. It is so good financially that it can afford those luxuries. We would be able to pay Zlatan's contract."

Neymar vows to 'give my life' for PSG

PSG striker Neymar has vowed to "give my life" for the club after a summer in which he was linked with a move back to Barcelona. "I am here to give my life for PSG," he told reporters after scoring the winner against Bordeaux at the weekend. "They are my team, my goal is to help my club, and to continue to score goals."

Mourinho rules out Italy return

Former Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has seemingly ruled out a return to the Serie A amid links with a number of top jobs in the division. "I haven't worked for seven, eight months so we'll see what happens," the Portuguese boss told Tiki Taka. "But I don't think I'll come back to work in Italy. It's a sensation, but I don't think my future will be in Italy."

Steve Bruce 'in profane rant at Newcastle players'

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce reportedly laid into his players with an expletive-ridden rant following their 5-0 defeat at Leicester City on Sunday. The squad were reportedly stunned into silence during the dressing down, which saw Bruce describe their performance as a "surrender" and was followed by him cancelling a planned training session on Monday.

Eden Hazard declares himself '100% fit'

New Real Madrid signing Eden Hazard has declared himself fully fit for action after accusations that he arrived at the club from Chelsea overweight. "I feel good, it is true that people expect a lot from me and me too and personally I can do better," he told reporters ahead of tonight's 2-2 draw with Club Brugge in the Champions League.

"There will be criticism and I am critical of myself, not everything is perfect right now but now I am 100% and I hope to do my best in the next matches. People expect a lot from me and I am the one who has to prove my level, people have seen what I did in France, Belgium, Chelsea, and now I have to improve so fans are proud of me. Now I feel one hundred per cent, I am no longer injured. I need to score goals and when I start to score and make good games it will be much simpler. I think I am missing a goal or assist to start come back."

Cavani 'ready to leave PSG'

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is ready to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season, according to L'Equipe. The French side have yet to begin talks over a new deal with the 32-year-old, who is a reported target for David Beckham's new MLS side Inter Miami.

Liverpool remaining 'cautious' with Alisson

Liverpool are staying cautious as they look to integrate first-choice keeper Alisson Becker back into the fold, according to the Liverpool Echo. The Brazilian has been out with a calf injury since the opening day of the season but is closing in on a return to full training and could be back in competitive action in the next few weeks.

Emery denies communication problems

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has denied that there is a problem of communication between members of his squad. The Spaniard has players from 13 different nationalities on his books but insists that nothing gets lost in translation.

"I think no – I have conversations with players, particularly individually with Bukayo Saka. Sometimes I use Freddie [Ljungberg] to do that conversation with individual players," Emery is quoted as saying by The Mirror. "Now my English is, from one to 10, maybe a six. But at six, I think the players can understand me. If not, some help is good."
