Udinese announce the signing of Pablo Mari on a loan deal from Arsenal until the end of the season.

Udinese have confirmed the signing of Pablo Mari on loan from Arsenal for the remainder of the season.

The 28-year-old has consistently struggled for opportunities in Mikel Arteta's side this season - making a mere three appearances across all competitions.

Mari has not played a single minute in the Premier League since August's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, and the centre-back is relishing the opportunity for a new adventure in Serie A.

"Happy and proud! Looking forward to beginning this new adventure and giving my best for this jersey and its fans! FORZA UDINESE!," Mari wrote on Twitter.

Mari has failed to make the Arsenal squad for a Premier League game on 14 occasions this season, most recently making the bench for the Boxing Day victory over Norwich City.

The former Flamengo man boasts one goal from 22 appearances in a Gunners shirt since his initial loan arrival in January 2020. body check tags ::
