Lucas Perez's representative has suggested that an agreement could soon be reached for the Arsenal striker to return to Deportivo La Coruna.
The 28-year-old joined the Gunners last summer for £12.7m but failed to earn a consistent role in Arsene Wenger's plans, and he was not part of their 18-man squad for the Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday.
Perez has also previously admitted that he is frustrated at being a bit-part player, and suggested that new signing Alexandre Lacazette being handed Perez's number nine shirt upon his arrival was "the last straw".
On Monday, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle told Sky Sports News: "I think the £10.9m (€12m) that Deportivo La Coruna have offered Arsenal is a great deal. Deportivo received £12.7m (€14m) when they sold him to them last summer.
"They are giving everything to make this transfer possible. Lucas wants to play but he has a contract with Arsenal. I am hopeful an agreement can be reached."
Perez played in only 11 Premier League games last season, starting just two of those.
