The agent of Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has denied claims that Schalke 04 are looking to sign the German international.

Kon Schramm said that he cannot discuss rumours about his players, but was keen to reiterate that Podolski remains under contract until 2016.

"I have never been out to comment on speculation like this," Bild quotes Schramm as saying. "Lukas Podolski is under contract with Arsenal. This is a fact."

The German international joined Arsenal from Koln in 2012 and has made 34 Premier League appearances to date.
