Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly decided that they will offer a fee of £70m for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has stressed that his star man will not be sold this summer, despite just 12 months remaining on his existing deal.
However, according to The Mirror, PSG are willing to test his resolve with a big-money bid which they hope will tempt the North Londoners into a sale.
It has been claimed that they are also prepared to meet Sanchez's wage demands of £400,000 per week and should Arsenal accept an offer, a transfer would appear to be a formality.
Manchester City also hold a strong interest in the Chilean international but despite Sanchez's desire to secure a reunion with Pep Guardiola, Wenger is against selling his best player to a Premier League rival.
PSG also appear close to pushing through the signing of Barcelona attacker Neymar for a world record transfer fee.
