Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to offer more than £80m for Arsenal playmaker Alexis Sanchez.
The Ligue 1 outfit have already made significant waves in the transfer market this summer, spending a world-record £200m on the signing of Neymar from Barcelona, but are said to be willing to spend yet more still on suitable top targets.
Sanchez is into the final 12 months of his current deal at the Emirates and as it stands can leave on a free next summer but is still attracting significant offers despite Arsenal's reluctance to sell.
According to The Independent, PSG are intending to put forward "the type of financial package that proves too good to turn down", with an offer of £80m to Arsenal and wages worth £400,000 a week to the player himself.
Such a salary would represent more than a three-fold increase on Sanchez's current £130,000-a-week wage at the Emirates and dwarfs the rival offer of £250,000 a week being offered by Manchester City.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger insisted today that the club have received no offer from PSG for Sanchez, claiming that Les Parisiens are instead focused on landing Kylian Mbappe from AS Monaco.
