RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche has said that he wants Dayot Upamecano to 'take his time' when making a decision over his future.
Having established himself as one of the top prospects in Europe during his time in Germany, Upamecano is being linked with a number of high-profile clubs.
Although a switch to either Arsenal or Barcelona appears to be a possibility for the Frenchman, Krosche feels that the centre-back should remain patient when it comes to mapping out the next stage of his career in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to Kicker, Krosche said: "This is a far-reaching decision for a player. He should take his time with that.
"He has to be clear about exactly what he is going to do, how he sees his future. Maybe that has changed a bit as a result of the new situation."
The 21-year-old has a £55m release clause in his contract.
